Position:

Director

About Me:

I have worked in Early Education for over 21 years, building a career rooted in high quality practice, strong leadership and a genuine commitment to children and families.

Before opening Monkey Puzzle Altrincham and later Monkey Puzzle Timperley, I spent 13 years as an EYFS Leader and Reception Teacher in a local primary school. During this time, I developed a deep understanding of what outstanding early years provision looks like and helped guide the school through several successful Ofsted inspections, with my EYFS department consistently performing at an excellent level.

Since establishing and directing two nurseries, I have further strengthened my expertise in leading high performing teams, embedding attachment led practice and creating warm, nurturing environments where children thrive. Both nurseries have also achieved three highly successful Ofsted inspections, reflecting the strength of our practice, culture and leadership.

A core part of my ethos is a deep passion for school readiness. I believe that children should leave our nurseries confident, capable and excited for the next stage of their education. Ensuring they are ready to start school — socially, emotionally and academically — is central to our curriculum and to the way we work with families. Supporting children to build independence, resilience and a love of learning is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

As a mother of two children myself, I understand first hand how important trust, communication and consistency are for families. I am passionate about working in partnership with parents to ensure every child receives the very best care, education and opportunities. I am proud to lead nurseries where children are happy, safe and inspired — and where staff feel valued, supported and empowered every day.
